Inside Sales Representative

IMPEX is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is looking to join an expanding team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries
  • Data entry into Salesforce CRM, QuoteWerks, and Microsoft products
  • Assist Outside Sales team with quotations, customer communication, vendor communication, business development, cold calls, campaigns, etc.
  • Assists Account Executives in preparing quotes/proposals and bid responses by understanding manufacturer programs such as special bids, educations and government pricing
  • Be passionate about the job, customers and team
  • Build relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Provides product and vendor information; assists customer in comparing product features
  • Evaluates and decides price quotes based on sales margin criteria
  • Registers opportunities using channel partner portals and updates Salesforce accordingly
  • Sets up and maintains pricing profiles in internal databases and programs
  • Visits customer accounts with AE’s as needed
  • Ensures internal team and customer satisfaction standards are achieved and exceeded
  • Proactive involvement with other departments to resolve order or invoice discrepancies
  • Uses reports to monitor and inform customers as to the status and changes in delivery dates
  • Follows up with customer on a regular basis regarding forecasting opportunities
  • Maintain confidentiality of trade secrets, proprietary information, etc.
  • Generates profit margins through cross sell and up sell activity
  • Determines and documents decisions concerning customer credit and re-bill situations
  • Participates in webinars and trade shows as appropriate.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales, preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in Administration/Operations, preferred
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be hardworking, motivated and energetic
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, precise, and accurate
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude, great energy, good work ethic
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain special pricing and bids
  • Commitment to continuous learning through training, workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Experience with Microsoft products and basic computer skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and QuoteWerks, preferred
